They all think the same
They don’t even know
All brought up, in the same tradition
They cast you out
They hate any question
Beliefs have, only one interpretation
They can give you respect
They can shower adulation
Only if you follow, their condition
They challenge the change
They change the rules
To defend and carry on, their domination
They they they are all around you
They are none others but you
When it’s not about you, it’s your disposition
Hindi Kavita on Politics: हम दोस्त हुआ करते थे
Hindi Kavita ‘Hum Dost Hua Karte The’ by The Versatilist is inspired by the politics around us which has created differences among friends.
This hindi Kavita on politics is inspired by my experiences where I see close friends become distant due to their differing views on politics and politicians. I see people trying to make the other individual align to their views and are quick and happy to label them as someone who isn’t one of them.
This situation is new and it has come to the fore in the recent years. I hope people are reasonable with each other and learn to appreciate the differing views!
Here it goes, hindi kavita on politics: हम दोस्त हुआ करते थे
किस पक्ष में हो तुम, वो पूछता ये सवाल है
निष्पक्ष कहो खुद को, फिर भी उठता ये बवाल है
लेबल ले कर घूम रहा है, लगाने को तैयार है
हाँ में हाँ मिलाओ तो दोस्त, वरना दुश्मन बनाने को तैयार है
देश सभी का है, फर्क तो सभी को पड़ता है
सोचने का एक ही तरीका है सही, ये कह कर मुझसे लड़ता है
कभी दोस्त हुआ करता था, आज नफरत का शिकार है
किसी और को क्या दोष दूँ, कौन भला ज़िम्मेदार है
साल, मौसम, महीने बदलना लाज़मी है
आसमान जो छू रहा आज, अगला, ठिकाना उसका ज़मीन है
सियासत के रंग भी बदलेंगे, इतिहास गवाह है
क्या हम तुम ज़िंदा रहेंगे मगर, मुझे देखने की चाह है

खुश तो होगा खुदा हम से
जो किस्मत में कीमती यार लिखे हैं
काफी तो एक दो भी होते
मेरे हिस्से में एक दो कई बार लिखे हैं
कुछ सहारा बने मुश्किल घड़ियों में
कुछ खुशियाँ बुनने आये शनिवार आते हैं
वो भी हैं जो मिले नहीं हैं अरसे से
याद वो बहुत बार आते हैं
कुछ सालों से, तो कुछ दशकों से हैं जानते
मेरी रग रग को पहचानते हैं
कुछ अक्सर किया करते हैं बातें
कुछ बस चुप चाप दुआ दिया करते हैं
कुछ बेवजह दिया करते हैं तोहफे
कुछ गाली दे कर बातें शुरू किया करते हैं
मैं भागता हूँ उनकी ओर मश्वरे के लिए
टांग खींचते हैं और मदद भी किया करते हैं
काश बन पाता मैं उनके जैसा
बेशुमार प्यार जो बिन मांगे दिया करते हैं
नाज़ है मुझे यारों पर अपने जिनकी मिसालें
लोग कहानियों में दिया करते हैं
